Stayed here for the third time and the standard never varies.Lovely rooms with a spectacular view and a great value for money restaurant.T he nearby town of Belmont is extremely interesting and this is a lovely area of Portugal. The hotel has a personal feel that is often missing in hotel chains.

Room Tip: View of the mountains

We stay at this hotel, it's a smal and old hotel.
We could ear all noise from all room nearby.
Our bathroom was ok but cold, the hot water was not so hot.
The breakfast was a two star, ok what can I say.
All staf were kind but they could do better by the price we payed.
If you are visiting other villages try to stay in better hotels and cheaper for some KM more.
Free WI-FI, no mini bar in the rooms, and na old tv screen... for a 3 stars...
Sheets thin and old fashioned...

We were here last year and on a recent trip to the area we again stayed here. As before the Hotel was a very pleasant stay. From our arrival and greeting from the owner to the excellent staff at dinner and breakfast we were made to feel very welcome . We were also given a free upgrade to a balcony room with views to the mountains of Serra De Estrella. Highly recommend this privately owned and family run Hotel . The food is typical and very good not like many hotels and excellent wines . When we are in the area we will God willing stay here again . Thank you Hotel Belsol .

Room Tip: Front rooms have views toward the Serra De Estrella mountains .

We called in on our trip around Portugal and found the hotel to be loverly. The gentleman behind the desk provided us with all the information which we needed and more. Our room, although not modern, was extremely clean and comfortable. We had both dinner and breakfast there, and both were fine. I certainly wouldn't say that this was fantastic dinning, but was very enjoyable and about what you would expect. My only comment about the restaurant was that some background music would certainly have helped.

Just outside the city and easy to find , very pleasant stay . Hotel is good value , the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Really courteous from the reception to the waiting staff. We stayed in a front room with our own balcony and table and chairs. Beautiful views to the Serra De Estrella from our room and from the restaurant. The food is typical and very good Portuguese food( we have lived in Portugal for 30 years. ) It is also great value for money and with good wines well priced as well. We went for one day but stayed for 3 days , also they have a very nice swimming pool free for use . A/ C was good in the rooms and clean comfortable rooms and bed. All in all we had a very pleasant stay here and Belmonte is a city of much historical interest. Oh lots of car parking and free. Highly recommended as a non chain family owned Hotel . We hope to visit again when we are in the area
