Have mixed feelings about this one.
The settings are great and the lodgings have potential, yet are neglected.
Some examples : cobwebs everywhere, also old ones - decor outdated (I understand this was historic building, but old creaky furniture from grand dad's time.....) - double bed was really a converted twin with annoying hard ridge in the middle
But what really annoyed me was that although owners probably saw the heavily damaged mosquito screens every time again, nothing had been done about it. If you take that kind of money from your guests (region is average 20% more expensive than elsewhere) you should do maintenance and not pretend not to see it....
Cleaning for us was an issue, as no service whatsoever was given for whole week, and site did not give this info nor did it give info that towels not changed for whole week, also with a pool onsite, no pool towels at hand.
Also picture son the site were from old times past, when all looked great.
Last but not least : sound insulation is extremely bad, you hear EVERYTHING from the neighbors, left, right and above

We apologize you do not like our accommodation. However, we are sure the apartment is in line with other typical Chianti farmhouses, as testified by many other visitors who stayed with us. In any case, we will check the whole apartment and repair the mosquito screens if needed. Regarding linens and towels, since we are not a hotel, our policy is to change them every week.

Four of us stayed in the Malvasia al Forno apartment for 4 days while visiting the area. We were met by Fabio who showed us through the apartment and gave us some information about the area.
The apartment was small but well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. There was a lovely patio where we sat each evening and enjoyed the beautiful views. The pool was also welcomed at the end of a day of sightseeing.
Fabio’s uncles who run Sodi I farm came to say hello one morning. They were lovely friendly men who were happy to tell you all about the home they grew up in and the vineyard. Sadly our Italian was not great so we missed a lot of the information.
As a place to stay it is well priced and comfortable. Close to Sienna and only an hour or so (if you are not an Italian driver) from Florence.
Animals live on their property- cats and dogs.
Be sure to go to the local restaurant Locanda del Tartufaio in Monti, best food on our trip yet, friendly service and the most amazing owl.

We stay one week in July in the villa at Trappoline with our private pool and the most breathtaking view of olive trees and grape vineyards as long as the eye can see. It was fantastic and our only regret was we didn't book 2 or 3 weeks. The hosts, Danilo, Andrea and Fabio made us feel really like home and our wine tasting at ISodi was also homely and cozy. Also very interesting to have a tour around all the processes of the wine. The villa was rustic and cozy and both bathrooms modern and nicely restored. This is a place were you really can relax 100%. Only you, the beautiful surroundings, the neighbor pony. The free wi-fi worked fine, and everything else as well. You really feel at home and can highly recommend Agriturismo Le Trappoline to everybody who seeks the amazing nature of Tuscany. We have earlier stayed in many other places in Tuscany, but this is for sure the most beautiful of them.

Le Trappoline was truly a home away from home for us. We, again, stayed in Trebbiano del Bosca. What a perfect location to explore the Tuscan and Chianti regions during the day and come "home" to sit outside and watch the sunset over the vineyards and countryside in the evening.

Fabio, Andrea and Danilo are the real pluses here. They made us feel like friends rather than customers. We shared many laughs with them as well as wonderful wine. We will visit them again.

We found our 9 day stay at Canaiolo del Nonno at le Trappoline was exactly what we had hoped for and more. Surrounded by the most beautiful views of the rolling Tuscan hills, olive groves, grape vineyards and Castello Brolio, the location was ideal. Our apartment was rustic in architecture, traditionally furnished, romantic, airy and immaculate. The bathroom was updated and modern, A lovely welcoming tray of I Sodi wines and olive oil was on the table when we arrived. The owners treated us like visiting family, making sure all our needs were met throughout our stay and even provided a shopping basket with essentials on our arrival, knowing we would be coming in late. We were given a tour of I Sodi Winery, including wine tasting and invitation to return to see the grape harvest which began during our stay.
We made good use of the fresh herbs growing around the buildings, the stone barbeques, working fireplace, well equipped kitchen, and the immaculate full sized inground pool was a perfect way to relax after a day of travelling. We toured the many villages, Florence, Siena, Pisa, all within easy travelling distance from le Trappoline; and walked to the local village of Monti which featured a general store when we needed some groceries. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer!
If you are looking for a traditional taste of rural Tuscany in a lovingly restored country farmhouse, you will not be disappointed with Agriturismo le Trappoline.

Room Tip: Choose the size of apartment that suits your needs.
