Views from rooms at the front of the hotel are amazing. Location is excellent - only 10 minutes walk from restaurants and bars.
Free wifi throughout, and I was given a voucher for a welcome drink.
Huge choice at breakfast. Staff very pleasant and polite.
The place does need a bit of a refresh, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

The hotel location is great. The view of the lake is magnificent, if you get a room on the lake side. The room I had was neither outdated nor updated. It looks like the hotel was at some point equipped with key-card entry system but they are non-functional. Staff is super friendly. Breakfast is included and is the same as most of the hotels (sweets, croissants, cereals, bread, fruits, etc.). The only downside I found to the hotel is that next to it is La Rocca (night club) and on fridays and saturdays you can hear the music pretty loud until 2-3 am, but it did not bother me since I was working night shift. Big parking. Small walk to the port and city center (10 mins).

Room Tip: Pay the small extra for lake view, otherwise you see a rock wall.

This is a tired, old property in a great location. The public areas of the hotel were very well presented. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room I stayed in was very small, dirty, unpleasant and uncomfortable. Do not stay here.

The room did not look like it had been updated in at least ten years. There were dirty marks on the wall and the whole thing looked dank and tired. The bathroom was almost as big as the room. The room was so small it was completely dominated by the bed. If you wanted to do anything in the room, the bed was going to be part of it.

The bed was old, tired, hard and overdue for replacement. There was no compendium of guest services in the room. The room safe was locked but even if it was unlocked it was not bolted to anything so a thief could just take it (see photo). The ice section of the room fridge was a solid block of ice that showed it had not been defrosted in a long time (see photo).

The state of the room detracts very badly from this hotel. The group owns two other hotels in Arona and the lack of competition has done the investors no favours.

While the views, location, bar and restaurant are all very nice the state of the room makes this a very disappointing and uncomfortable hotel. The guest's room is the most intimate part of any hotel and where the guest should feel the most comfortable. The rest of the hotel and its location can be perfect but if the rooms are wrong the hotel is doomed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances.

Room Tip: Stay at a different hotel not owned by the owners of this one.

Great hotel right on the lake. AMAZING VIEWS. Dont put much into the rooms. They are old but very clean. Parking is good. The staff was very friendly. Our bathroom was very modern and up to date. The road out front is a little loud but it can be overlooked.
