Have to say having walked the full length of the beach, this looks to be the best place and most private.
Nothing in the town and nowhere else really worth eating nearby.
Food was disappointing.
Cocktail of the day never changed. Cocktails we did have were horrible!
Service was attentive but too attentive- you were not allowed to even put down your own glass!
Lodges are amazing. White sand beaches. Well kept grounds. Perfect pool.
Swimmable sea.

We stayed next door and had dinner at this place. The food was average and overpriced. $9 for a scrimp cocktail, with just two scrimps and a and lettuce.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The services was quit food, atmosphere is also nice.

As soon as the front gate open you feel as if you enter paradise. We felt so welcome from the first moment, it felt like we were Home. The staff were amazing, never made us wait for anything, the food was well prepared and delicious (be careful of the curry, it has a good bite). The beach is very close to the resort on High tide and very far at low tide as this part of the Island is more for the wind surfer then the beach-goer, but we wanted seclusion and that is exactly what we got. we took long strolls on the beach and watched the local people fish is the low tide.

the swimming pool is amazing and the little monkeys come past every evening about 4, so while you catch some last sun you have a safari at the pool. :-)

The closest shop was a 10 shilling drive and had basic essentials. The dive shop was around the corner and also amazing.

overall we loved the holiday and will return soon.

This Hotel is the perfect place to stay, when you're looking for relaxation, amazing beaches, delicious food and an extraordinary service.

From our arrival till our last day the service was perfect, the staff was incredibly friendly and even helped us to learn their language :)

Breakfast and dinner (we booked half board) was really delicious and they offered a wide range of different types of food.

We especially fell in love with the fresh juices and the Octopus at Hakuna Majiwe, so when you plan to stay there, try it :D

Our room was cleaned 2-3 times a day (depending on how sandy it was haha) and the staff always tried to make some special arrangements with flowers and towels <3

We loved the ocean view and the beautiful sunrises, that you can watch directly from your terrace.

Thank you Hakuna Majiwe and your whole team for making our stay so special :)

We stayed here during the off season and had the lodge to out selves. The surroundings are lovely and kept very clean including areas leading to beach and around the pool (which is also great). We enjoyed the peaceful setting and the views. The lodge is in some process of renovation, but our room at air con/ fan etc and was comfortable. The team went out of their way to help us, bringing breakfast to us in the morning when it rained etc.. We would of liked to stay longer (as the weather got better as soon as we left). I would be keen to come back in the season and try the lodge again.
