We arrived at this hotel at around 2pm and were served a lovely cold drink but told our room would not be ready until 3pm (3pm is the actual check in at this hotel). So were happy to wait - went accross to the coffee shop accross from the Sheraton main entrance (by the entrance to the Villas) and had lunch. Went back at 3pm and waited for another 15 mins or so for our room key. As the hotel was at capacity we were upgraded to an 2 bdrm ocean view loft villa (we paid for a 2 bdrm lagoon view). That was a lovely surprise. Our upstairs bedroom had a huge wrap around deck with day beds. There was also a deck off the lower bedroom and both had amazing views of the ocean. We also received a 50% discount voucher to use at the Feast Restaurant buffet on our first night. Although the buffet prices are very expensive (about $90 fjd per adult), with the voucher and two of our children eating for free - for two adults and three children the meal plus softdrinks (wine was much too expensive!) came to around $150 fjd which was not too bad considering the choice and quality of food.

Our package did not include breakfast (we already had got a great deal on the accomodation) but we chose to have the buffet at Feast as we found we didn't need lunch (just grabbed a smoothie at the coffee shop just out the main entrance). Again we paid about $115 fjd for two adults and our extra child (with two children eating free).

Staff were fantastic - very friendly and wecoming. Facilities were very clean and the choice of pools accross all three Sheraton resorts was great. Nothing was too much trouble and we had excellent service. We enjoyed happy hour at the Wet Edge bar each day. We did not notice that the Villas were at capacity as the pools seemed quieter and more relaxing than pools at the other resorts.

We only stayed for 3 nights after a fantastic stay at Plantation Island (you must visit an Island, the beaches are amazing, Denarau doesn't have such a great beach). Our other two nights we had fish and chips by the beach from Neptunes at the Radisson and went down to the Port on our last night (great choice of reasonably priced restaurants).

Overall a relaxed and enjoyable stay that exceeded our expectations. We would definately stay here again.

We have just come back from another fabulous holiday at The Villas. It was our third stay there and we will definately go back. We get a poolside villa which has a kitchen with a full size fridge/freezer & dishwasher, open plan dining/ lounge complete with a TV and DVD/CD Player, separate bedroom which has another TV, bathroom with bath and separate shower, washing machine/dryer, everything you need and it's right by the pool. So great if you need a cold drink or go to the toilet, it's right there! There are sun loungers right outside your door, it's paradise!! There is a convenience store and cafe at the entrance to The Villas and the cafe makes the BEST Smoothies!! We can't wait to go back! :)

Our last two visits to Fiji, we stayed at Sheratan Denarau and what a fantastic place to stay. We will be back there in 2012 to soak up such wonderful hospitality, amenities and services and a wonderful central location to everything. We were made so welcome there and the Fiji people are wonderful. We love Fiji and have spread the word to all about the Sheratan Denarau and FIJI as the place to holiday.

We stayed in Villa 825 & 826 which were on the "lagoon" or pool side of the estate and also on ground level. It was a great setup and a beautiful place. The folks on staff were the kindest and biggest hearted people that I have ever met anywhere. We enjoyed their happy "Bula"s everyday and we just loved the way that they treated all of us, especially the warmth that all of them showed to our 21 month old son. The pools were nice, food was decent and the weather was fantastic. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Always kept clean and taken care of every day. No complaints and we will return asap!

Room Tip: Get a Lagoon room

Having spent a while at another resort, we were thrilled with the Villas. The rooms have been upgraded and are nice and subtle. It is a great place to relax.
We had a superior ocean view room, as our travel agent told us the cheaper ones our friends were in were booked out -(this was absolute rubbish by the way, will book direct next time!!!). Having said that our room was superb, beautiful view, and great space.
I love having kitchen facilities and had breaky and lunch some of the time in our room/patio.
The selection of two pools at the villas was awesome, and there was plenty of space. But being able to use the Sheraton facilities as well as the Westin gives plenty of options. (Watch other resorts are very anti about you wondering in to use their facilities).
This will be my choice next time when travelling with another family. It is very relaxing and felt like a home away from home. I'm not big on resorts and all the action that goes with them, so this one was a relief to find.
While it really suited us, if you want complete luxury and no kids, prob not for you. Its not completly polished, but we really loved it and will be going back.
Check in and cleanliness was excellent, not complaints there. Staff pretty relaxed & friendly.
Kids club at the Sheraton was excellent, the kids loved it, and it was free! Brilliant.
