Fabulous location overlooking the harbour. A short walk around to restaurants and up to the citadel. Great paths along the cliffs. Staff were very helpful and accommodating with small requests. Rooms are clean and relatively spacious - nice patios. Outdoor pool is a good size for actual swimming and a hot tub adjacent. Breakfast buffet is very good with lots of choices and the coffee is excellent.

Room Tip: Overlooking the harbour

Stayed there in desperation as nowhere else. At 160 Euro for one night, room only, one would expect a bit of luxury, but no, not at all. Not even the bar was open. Very basic room without even a kettle to make a cup of tea/coffee. Just like the town itself - only for people with much more money than sense

Room Tip: Save up lots !

Situated on Bonifacio plaisance port, in front of the old town.
Very nice view .We were at 4 floor with a little terrass. Perfect to see Bonifacio at many times during the day.
The little train to go up to high old town is very close from Solemare.
Swimming Pool.
The interior is quite old and have to be renovated.
I didn t taste breakfast.
Parking
I will come back for sure.

Room Tip: high floor port view

We spent two night here as part of our two week honeymoon. Wish we has stayed longer! The hotel is perfectly located in the harbour. You can walk all the way around the harbour with lots of shops and waterside restaurants, and up to the old town full of character, or along the coast. The views from the hotel are amazing, one of the best views I've actually experienced. There is one noisy bar directly opposite the hotel (across the water) which kind of trumps all other night time sounds but it is such a busy little place that it's kind of expected. The pool is very sweet with again views across the harbour and to the old town fort wall, which is also pretty at night with it's uplighting. You won't need transport while you're here as everything is walkable, but be warned taxis in Corsica can be pretty expensive if you need one to take you here. The ferries are the other side of the harbour (again walkable) there are many trips but also regular ferries to Sardinia, all very well organised. Our room was decorated beautifully and spotless. Perfect stay for what we wanted. Can't wait to go back.

This hotel is located right on the waterfront in the "Nouvelle Marine". All the rooms look out over the harbour and give superb views. On the opposite side of the harbour, a walk of maybe 150 metres are all the restaurants and shops. So the location is unbeatable. Reception staff are friendly and efficient, our room was fairly small but comfortable and adequate for our two night staff. The first morning we took breakfast at the hotel, but for 9 euros we thought it was not good value. It appeared to us that the bread was not fresh that morning from the boulangerie but more like supermarket mini baguettes. When we are in France we expect to get "fresh" bread each morning.
So, skip breakfast at the hotel and walk around to any of the restaurants/cafes, you will get a great breakfast there much cheaper plus the added advantage of a nice view of the harbour and be able to "people watch".
