My husband and I loved our stay here. We stayed in the junior suite. The room was spacious, clean and had a balcony. The bathroom was very nice as well. This quiet little gem will give you the best bang for your buck. Just a 5 minute walk from the Bonifacio port and citadel, you'll avoid being overcharged by other establishments simply for a view of the water. The staff are very friendly, but don't speak English, which wasn't a problem for us at all. Overall great experience. Wifi is a little slow, but we didn't want to be on our phones anyway.

A handy place with a spacious bedroom with good looking modern furnishings. Bath is same. A full supermarket about 100 meters away. Hotel is right on the road but electric shutters in our room blocked the street noise very well.

The bus for Ajaccio leaving from the port at 7 am, we left too early to sample the buffet breakfast; and the supermarket was not open yet. However, the location was convenient for the early departure.

But to walk to Pertusatu for a view of Bonifacio from the maquis , the sentier de Campu Rumanilu et Pertusatu is not so close at hand.

Time must be allocated to gather a picnic, get to Montee Saint Roch ...........and smell the "roses" so to speak. The projected time of "2 hours or so", just won't do it for many.

For some, even experienced .......6 hours may not get them quite to the Capo Pertusatu .....and back , specially in spring, when there is an abundance of wild flowers (to look at......or photograph).

Also It is a must to carry food and water.

To get back to the hotel, our room was good, comfortable and clean. No complaints.

Stayed here for one night and was disappointed. While the price was decent and the staff friendly I had three complaints (2 minor, one major) which prevent me from recommending. The minor complaints were that the free Wi-Fi was impossible to connect too (no-one in our traveling party of 12 was able to connect) and that there was no way to control the temperature in the room (way to hot to sleep comfortably). The major complaint was that when we lifted the covers on the bed, there was a considerable and highly viable amount of dirt present (gross). I went to the front-desk to complain and while the person staffing the desk was friendly, my limited French and his non-existent English made it impossible to do any more than get some extra sheets to put over the bed. Not happy.

The rooms were a bit cold (we were there in winter, and Bonifacio has quite some heavy dew, so quite wet) and quite bare. The staff is polite, but that is all there to the hotel. The room is quite spacious though, with a balcony and chairs. Its location is its biggest turn-off: Bonifacio is such a charming beautiful town, that one should always live in the high city, not in the lower part. The hotel is close to one of the two Spar supermarkets and the various restaurants and a cafe in the lower town.

Room tip: Ask for as many WiFi passwords and user names as the no. of devices you have. (All are free.)

Bearing in mind, all hotels in Bonifacio ville seem to be extortionately expensive, we were happy with our stay here. Requested a quiet, high floor room which was granted. Hotel is very clean and well located. Car parking available. Air con was good, Beds comfortable. Staff friendly to deal with. It is a decent 3 star level hotel (with a 4 star price tag!).
