Decent budget hotel views were amazing from the balcony of sunset well worth paying the extra for balcony and river view. WiFi was inconsistent but that was the same all over Vang vieng. Bed also Fairly hard well worth turning up and booking rather then doing online as you get a cheaper rate as the hotel doesn't have to pay commission to the website.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We booked in advance, but they didn't charge us until we got there. We tried to pay with card and they said they didn't accept it, which was a bit annoying to go and take out that amount in kip. A quiet place with big clean rooms. The bathroom was sparse but functional, and they don't clean the rooms during your stay unless you ask them to. There seems to be a big sun deck on the main floor but it seemed that the family lived on that floor? It didn't seem very inviting to guests.
The views from our room were absolutely spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a better view. There was a lovely patio off of our room that was nice and private.
Good a/c and fan and comfortable beds.
It's a budget friendly, clean, good place to stay, but there's nothing 'wow' about it.

We stumbled across this place and ended staying a few nights here. For somewhere so close to central town / river it was surprisingly quiet. A rare plus in Vang Vieng. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The owner runs the Mini Stop (shop) adjacent and is also very helpful and friendly.

great view over the river & island from 3rd floor, clean big room, nice service, the only disadvantage was the toilet in the room that was really stinking after 2 days... I'd recommend it - just check the toilet first (ours was missing the cover over the tank)

Bargained for cheaper rates. We stayed for 4 nights. Got the highest floor(Twin Room) with the street view. Spacious room and acceptable facilities. There is a balcony for our room. Staff has limited English. Remember to ask for housekeeping if staying for more nights... They have a mini mart and the price is the same with the other mini marts for drinks.. We rented our scooter from the opposite bikeshop (right) to explore Vang Vieng for 2 days. Rental doesn't include full fuel topup. Full Fuel topup was about 20.000 Kip. Walk along the main road on your left and you get cheaper bus tickets to other towns(40.000Kip to Vientianne) and laundry service(5.000 Kip/Kg).
