I really can't say enough about our wonderful experience staying at Cliffrose Lodge and Gardens. We arrived on August 17th and stayed 3 nights. My husband and I were traveling with our three children (ages 6, 11 & 14) as well as our extended family. In total, we were a party of 9.
We stayed in one of the Canyon Villas. It had 3 bedrooms (each with its own bathroom and terrace) connected by a hallway and livingroom/kitchen combo common room. It was perfect! Everyone in our party had their own space, but we were still able to be together in the living room and eat together out on the terraces.
The rooms were spotless! The kitchen came stocked with plates, pots, cutlery etc...
There is a supermarket down the street where we were able to buy groceries. We were able to make dinner one night as if we were in our own home.
Each of the terraces had gorgeous views of the mountains of Zion National Park.
Our stay included a free continental breakfast every morning which included bacon, eggs, a breakfast burrito as well as the usual continental breakfast fare such as muffins and cereal. There is complimentary coffee in the lobby all day.
Best of all, it was only a 5 minute walk to the Zion National Park Visitor's Center. No need to drive back into the park and waste time trying to find parking! Right before entering the park, there is a rental shop where you can rent walking sticks and/or shoes for the Narrows hike in Zion (a MUST!).
If I ever return to this area of the country, I will definitely be staying here again!
