This is a beautiful drive off the beaten path away from many of the crowds. The falls and river are beautiful...there is even a swimming spot nested back in on this drive.....take time to enjoy and hike a bit here...

One of my favorite parts of Yellowstone. Start at Old Faithful and hike/drive your way through miles of beautiful country, waterfalls and Geyser basins. Take your time and experience the beauty of this part of Yellowstone.

Short hike that is forgotten by many. It leads to Firehole Lake which is very interesting. Worth doing. Not at all crowded.

This is not a long drive but has some great sights - the falls and the river are gorgeous. The surrounding trees and rock formations add to the beauty. This one is the Firehole Canyon Falls drive. There is also a Firehole Lake Drive that is worth a drive as well.

We took the one way Firehole River drive and enjoyed the views of the canyon and the falls. It was well worth the turnoff, drive and stop at the falls.
