My husband & I took the exit to Seneca Falls, NY on Saturday morning the 1st of May. He had read somewhere that Seneca Falls is the town that inspired the town of Bedford Falls in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" and inspiring it is. We enjoyed our little visit. We stopped at the Visitors Center just as we entered the town, it was a windmill and the door was unlocked but no one was there (security cameras were in place). We helped ourselves to brochures. In the town there are cute little shops and the people we met were very friendly. For lunch we ate at Jeremy's cafe, a small place but the burgers were good and the price was great. As we were on our way to Niagara Falls we did not visit anything else in the area. We would like to go back sometime to visit the Finger Lakes area and some wineries.
