Had a room with a great view of the plaza area. Didn't get to enjoy it too much because opening the blinds made the room very cold, so I left them closed most of the time to help keep the room better insulated. My only issue with the room was it stayed pretty cold and I had trouble keeping it warm enough for me even when I turned up the thermostat (which is admittedly at least 74 degrees).
Great desk area and chair that made a nice working space that I used frequently. Be advised that the wi-fi isn't included with the cost of your room (it's charged per day w/ two speed options) - mine was only included b/c of the room package for the conference I was attending.
Bed was very comfortable and slept well. Room was quiet. Bathroom is generally nice but didn't have any shelving to store your toiletries, so I had to put them in the closet to prevent having to place them on the floor. Toilet was kinda weird but the shower head was great.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The in hotel dining where you could grab breakfast and coffee had good options and the food was very good too. Hotel location is easily walkable to several nice restaurants, as well as the Duke Energy Convention Center. There's also a Starbucks right across the street.More
