The hotel has recently had the rooms updated, so if you haven't stayed here in a while, you will be pleased. At the time of our visit on a Friday night, it was very quiet. We had the window in the bathroom open to let in fresh air and the noise did not bother us. Room is not luxurious, but it is cute, clean, and comfortable. If there are two of you and you can, get one of the larger rooms. We were a little cramped in our single queen room, but it was fine. We have stayed in other hotels in town, but this one is our favorite even though we need to drive to the college campus when we are visiting our daughter at Whitman. And you can't beat the price! We didn't have to turn on the AC, so I cannot comment on how noisy that is. It is on a busy street, but set back pretty far.

Thanks for the great review. Every room is a little different but we always buy the best mattresses we can get and are always improving.
We look forward to seeing you again.

We always try to stay at this motel when we visit Walla Walla. It is a great value. This motel has been here a long time (I'm guessing it is a 1950's vintage motel), but it has been well maintained. Rooms are not overly large, but personally I don't really care when I'm sound asleep and the rest of the time we are out having fun in the greater Walla Walla area.

This is a great value and I highly recommend it.

You are pretty close on the year, it was built in 1948. We've retained some of the original knotty pine walls which a lot of people like and appreciate but some think is too dark. Next time you are in town check out the new Adam West exhibit at the Kirkman House Museum. Especially if you like the 1960s Batman.

Clean, comfortable beds & pillows, spacious, good shower pressure. Friendly staff. Caroline was great with check in.
Conveniently located off of Hwy 12. Only 8 minutes from Main Street.
The rooms are dated but have everything you need for a nights stay. They have a very nice garden area for sitting and enjoying the weather.
A big hit, is the extra plug in’s for your phones and electronics.

These people are so friendly and truly make you feel welcome. The room was very clean and spacious. The room had all the little luxuries that all the more modern hotels have. It was a really nice place to stay and well worth the price we paid. We would definitely stay again.

We are very pleased you were happy with the room and your stay with us. We try hard to provide the items our guests need to have a relaxing stay. One of the benefits of being in the hospitality business is getting to share what we have with the wonderful guests who choose the Walla Walla Garden Motel.
Thank you for your business.

This was our second stay at the Garden. The name had changed from the Colonial, but the owners are the same. They are such nice people. The rooms have been refurbished since our last visit but the rates remain very reasonable. It is a clean operation with a good location. Perfect for enjoying the fall wine release activities. We will return.
