I have been patronizing John's for many years. They make special orders for any occasion and always have a great selection of great pastries and breads. You will not go wrong with any of John's great products.

I love their almond croissants, and their ham and cheese are great too. It is an old school bakery and bad for the waste line, but oh so good for the tummy. Walking thru the door is an olfactory treat as it is, and taking that first bite is too much fun. I highly recommend it as a great way to start off your day (my fav is to supplement with a latte from he Perc).

Just as in the title, good coffee, but the scones are absolutely delicious.

I've had some cookies and cakes here that were quite good, and a few that were not my cup of tea, but this place isn't just about the baked goods. There is a family atmosphere that is evident at once. Your good old fashioned bakery is right here. You're getting more than a cup of Joe, you get a smile and some chitchat. Not going to find THAT at St@rbucks.

John's has been a valley favorite for many years. He continues to put out a very quality bread supply and pastries.

There is a good chance that John himself will greet you and help you make your purchase. All his breads are fresh and tasty. Cinnamon Raisin is a favorite fancy loaf, but his sandwich loaf, whole wheat loaf, and once a week heavy German rye are recurrently on our table. Walla Walla is surrounded by wheat fields and we are blessed by great bakers, John's is our most frequent go to answer for the Lord's prayer..."give us today our daily bread."
