This hotel is absolutely wonderful. From the time we stepped off the shuttel to the time we left everything they did was perfect. The rooms were all newly renovated, clean and beautiful, the beds were comfy and the view was beyond description. They have a buffet breakfast and lunch that is also very good and since breakfast was free each day with our room and with the variety of food on the buffet you couldn't go wrong. Drinks were a bit pricey here I must say. The beach was ok, you have a bit of a drop down and it is a bit rocky, but you can walk down a little and the beach is better, you can't help but take in a breath taking view of diamond head. For the best Mia Tia go to cheese cake factory, they are cheaper and the best in Oahu. For first time visitors like us, don't waste your time going to the orientation your travel agent will set up, they offer the same services in the lower level for the same price and it is more personable, and to your individual needs versus a group and you will save 5 hours of your precious time. We went to the orientation thru dianondhead tours and ended up downstairs witht eh agent down there to straighten numerouis problems up. You can also find a very accomdodating hertz agent in the lower level as well. Paradise...This hotel is absolutely wonderful. He made our tour and our day, with his knowledge of the island and Hawaian history, we did not want to get off his bus! Also for first timers a rental car on day 1 or 2 is a must to see the island and everything it has to offer, I wish someone told us and we did it sooner vs the last day we were there.More
