“good location for walking around but bad with a car”
Reviewed 29 March 2012

This hotel/condo has a very good location. tons of stores and restaurants nearby. 3 blocks/5 min walk to the beach.

parking is a problem. $30 a day so we have to park somewhere else, $16 a day 4 blocks away. walking back and forth between parking lot and hotel is normally not a problem but we had hardtime when just arrived and unload our luggages, another time is when we have a large load of bags from grocery shopping (we cooked some meals to save. that is the reason we chose condo). There is not even a loading zone/temperate parking spot. you have to stop in the middle of the street and block all the traffic if you want to unload anything. something wrong with the design of this building.

I made a request for a higher level room before arrival but was given the first floor when check in. "This is the only room left". I did not believe it but I am not a person like to argue. We have to keep the windows and curtains close at all time becasue people walk by all the time. But what surprised me is there was no noise issue at night. so we were not happy but did not complain. Now I am think, if I was given higher level room, there would be still no view becasue all the other buildings are taller than this one. but at least I could open the window and let wind in.

The dulex two-bedroom we got is not big but adequate and clean. the weird thing is there is no bathroom door in the master bedroom. so everybody who walk into the room could see you naked in the bathtub or in the shower through the clear glass door. so I have to lock the bedroom door and keep eveybody out when taking showers.

I was never bothered by timeshare people during my stay. the key is don't make eye contact and don't answer the phone in your room.

If I get a good deal, I will stay here again. Otherwise I will look for a different experience.

We booked through hawaiicondosusa.com and had a great experience.

The location is excellent and the rooms were well laid out. The condo had everything we needed including three balconies, one for each bedroom and one off the living room. They all faced Waikkii beach walk which was load on the weekends at night but not too bad.

Went thru the timeshare tour and must say we were stuck with the worst room in the place.our timeshare lady showed us available rooms but when we asked for upgrade there were none available.travelling with. 4 adults and a toddler we expected to sleep on the sofa bed but ours was just like the one explained by Debbie n from Canada.totally not acceptable.don't rent or trade here if u are not with Wyndham as they only care about their Family, very disappointing as location is great and from what we saw of other rooms we would have had a totally different experience.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for deluxe room when renting a one bedroom.higher rooms preferred .

We stayed at Waikiki Beach Walk in February 2012. We were there for 3 weeks and had a number of different units, because we had different groups coming and going. We have stayed here before and always enjoyed it. It really is central to alot of Waikiki. Our units were all clean, comfortable with all the necessities you would need. Our beds and linens were very good. LIke most sleeper sofas these are not great,(probably only useable for young children) if we are traveling with more then 2 people, I would always get a 2 bedroom. It is very nice to have a washer and dryer. We had a 3 bedroom presidential, a 2 bedroom presidential and a 1 bedroom deluxe. We were on floors 10-12 in the Main tower with a Lewers street and ocean view. Even number rooms face Lewers Street, odd number the parkade.
I know some people complain about the noise and view, but honestly any hotel has back alley and parkade rooms. Plus you are in the heart of Waikiki and there will be noise.
We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating.
We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Even number rooms face Lewers Street.
