Chuck’s Cellar is located under the Ohana East below the street level. It mostly serves fish and beef dishes.
We had dinner on a Monday evening. A local group, Coyne Street, played several sets while we there. On Monday, they played mostly Hawaiian music and were very good with a nice harmony.
After placing our order, our waitress directed us to the salad bar. The lettuce was fresh and crisp... add beets, carrots, olives, cucumber, broccoli, tomatoes, garbanzo beans... you then can top it off with pieces of ripe pineapple and watermelon.
We ordered the Fresh Seared Ahi and the “Chuck’s Cut” of Prime Rib. Both were very good... the Ahi cut was very tender and seared rare, as requested. The Prime Rib also was very tender with great flavors.
We will definitely plan to return.

We came to this restaurant twice in one week because the food & service was so good! Our servers Austin & Lisa were friendly, really hustled to make sure we had everything we needed. We had steak & fish& all meals were excellent. Thanks!!

My second time eating at Chucks and was not disappointed. It was as great of an experience as the first time. We were a party of 14 in Hawaii celebrating a College Graduation. We decided to see if Chucks could accommodate us...they could and did. We had to wait, but that was to be expected. They don't take reservations so 3 of us walked over and put our name in. With an estimated hour wait, we sat down in the bar and enjoyed a Mai Tai. Our group filed in about an hour later and we were quickly sat down. We had to split into two groups (they could have sat us down as one table group, but the wait would have been a bit longer and we were flexible, and hungry) but that was okay. We were given excellent service and the food was fantastic!!! I cannot say enough about there steaks...perfection.
We all enjoyed our meals...not a one of us was dissatisfied at all.

It’s hidden but been there forever. Great food, great service, a tad crowded, but very enjoyable. We sat at the bar.
