One of the best parks in Honolulu, this one is right on the edge - Diamond Head side - of Waikiki. Lots of space, great for picnics, right next to the Honolulu zoo.

We enjoyed strolling around this very large nice park located near Waikiki beach and Diamond head. The Kapiolani Park seems to have something for everyone: sun, shade, picnic tables, bike paths, space for team sports like soccer, tennis courts, and rest rooms. There were lots of activities on the weekend we were there. Great park!

Right next to Waikiki beach and the zoo. The grounds are immaculate and a great memorial to long lost ancestors.

This is a nice quiet park nestled between waikiki on one side, diamond head on the other , and the shore. I think the beach there is nicer than Waikiki. It gets quite a few walkers and joggers but nothing like Waikiki even though it’s only a few minutes away. That’s fine by me! The perimeter of the park is a little over two miles. Contained within the park are shower facilities , picnic spots, etc. There is also a nice cafe there as well (barefoot beach cafe). It’s a good place to stop for breakfast or lunch and not crowded. If you are looking for a quiet place to visit that is away from the Waikiki crowds but nearby, this is it.

This park is very close to the built up area of Waikiki and it make sa pleasant change to get away from the traffic for a while. There isn't much in the way of facilities but it is a pleasant green space. The zoo & aquarium are nearby.
