Living on the east coast, we don’t get many opportunities to visit our family on Oahu. When we do, the Kahala is the ideal spot for us. It’s close to Honolulu and Waikiki, without being right in the mix of all the tourism. Though the pool does get crowded, it’s far less crowded than the hotels in Waikiki, not to mention the beach.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are clean, up to date, and very comfortable. The staff have always been kind, warm, and eager to assist.
We always look forward to our next trip out to Oahu and the Kahala.

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We were celebrating a birthday and they even gave my twins gifts. They provided us with welcoming leis. The porter, Darrell, brought our luggage, gave us extra free water bottles and ice chips. Darrell was also the one who helped us last year when we stayed at the hotel. He assisted in booking for our buffet breakfast at the Plumeria. Everyone was so helpful, kind and hospitable. The dolphins were adorable and kids had fun watching them. We get to enjoy the beach and sunset, the swimming pool and the scenery. It's really kid friendly and quiet at night, away from the busy noise of the city. Rooms got bidet or washlet. Location: close to Kahala Mall, if you want to eat, so easy to get around. Vallet Parking staff are kind too, they offer you water bottles to keep everyone hydrated. We will definitely keep coming here and Kahala Hotel will always be part of our family celebration (birthday, anniversary, etc.) because of the excellent service and the awesome staff. One night family staycation ended up 2 nights. This is our second time here. Last year we stayed 1 night and didn’t get the chance to do the dolphin encounter. But from check-in Shanalyn and Aimiee was very welcoming and showed the Aloha spirit esp. to us Kamaaina residents. Stephanie from the Dolphin quest encounter is awesome and great. Everything is accessible. And the view is breathtaking. You wake up in the morning feeling relaxed, you can see the ocean, pool and the dolphins what a great way to end spring break for the keikis. We are surely be back soon again

The staff and their dedication to their guests is such a highlight of this resort! Wonderful room and exciting amenities. Pool was a bit small and crowded. Justin Vallesteros, the restaurant manager went above and beyond—was super helpful, knew us by name and made for a very pleasant dining experience at the seafood dinner buffet.

We live on the big island and come often to Oahu, and enjoy our repeated stays at the Kahala … we look forward to its great location, amenities , restaurants, shops, but most all, the aloha in the staff.
