We chose a room at Inn on Bellevue as a last minute trip. We have stayed at other very luxurious B&Bs and this one is average.
Upon our entry into our room (#10) we were hit with some type of very strong cleaning chemical smell. Being 4 months pregnant I wanted to immediately open the windows and air out the room but wasn’t able to open them. We thought the room was an OK size for a historical B&B but the bathrooms are rather small (good luck if you’re larger than the average American). The mattress is not fluffy and comfortable. The next morning we woke up to an extremely hot room because the heat was on in the middle of August! We brought it to managements attention and it seemed to be a common occurrence? There is no phone in the room and temperature is centrally controlled but there is a small refrigerator.
For breakfast we had to go down the street to the Manor. Seating is cramped and limited - arrive early. We found the options to be satisfying - hard boiled eggs, quiche, French toast, scones/muffins/croissants, coffee cake, etc. We had no complaints other than the lack of seating.
Don’t expect any other extras or frills - no afternoon snacks, teas, beverages as we have seen at other places. More
