Been there before, and we'll go back again! We stayed for a long weekend in April. The Inn is close to so many things we love Newport for! We walked to the Wharf to do some shopping, and had a great dinner at "22 Bowen's"...a little pricey but delightful! Also ate at a place called "Rhumline" just around the corner from the Sarah Kendall House. Nice atmosphere, great menu and a toasty pot belly stove. Breakfast at the Inn was just wonderful, lots of fresh fruit, fresh bagels from the Innkeepers bagel shop and delicious main dishes. Tea served in my own teapot always makes my day! If there's anything you want to know about how to spend your day, Brian and Fran are the Innkeepers who have the suggestions! They are just so up on what's going on in the area. We spent a few hours just reading in front of the living room fireplace on a chilly afternoon. Just loved our stay! As I said...we'll be going back!
