My husband and I have stayed at Spring Seasons Inn twice over the last 4 years - both times in the Venice Suite. We were very pleased with each visit. The room was cozy and clean and there is a wonderful tub that fits two comfortably along with a fireplace - very romantic! Breakfast was always great (Susan makes the best muffins!!). Bill and Susan are wonderful hosts and are very accommodating. The tea room is very cute and there are so many teas to choose from if you're looking to bring some home with you. Parking is provided right across from the Inn which is convenient; and everything you want to see (Thames Street, Mansions, Cliff Walk) is within walking distance. We'll continue to book the Spring Seasons Inn whenever we visit Newport!

Room Tip: Always happy with the Venice Suite!

We always appreciate our repeat guests and we thank them for their business. We strive to make each and every visit to our home a pleasurable and memorable one for our guests and our repeat guests show us that we are doing our job. Glad you enjoyed our selection of fine teas.

My wife and I needed a weekend getaway and The Spring Seasons Inn was the perfect choice. This was my first stay at a B&B and I have to say that I was really impressed with the attention to detail. We felt like we were guests in someone's home as opposed to staying at a hotel. The room was cozy with a comfy bed and a great bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was wonderful and home-cooked each morning with coffee, tea, juice, cereal, muffins and a hot course as well. They had a cute back porch area which would probably be wonderful in the summer (we were visiting on a slightly cooler weekend in late March). There was a Keurig coffee machine so that you could enjoy a nice cup anytime of the day or night. They also recommended restaurants for us and had a great deal on passes to see the Mansions (a must see if it's your first trip to Newport). They also had free parking which was either in their driveway or a lot that was literally steps up the block. We will be recommending the Spring Seasons Inn to our family a friends and will hopefully be back on our next trip to Newport.

Room Tip: We stayed in Victoria's Room which was on the first floor in the front of the inn, but it was still quiet at night.

We recently spent a weekend at the Spring Season Inn & Tea Room. The Inn was decorated beautifully in the Victorian style. We especially loved the dining room and the piano! The full breakfast each morning was delicious. The Newport Suite was bright and sunny with a double jacuzzi and a private deck. Our friends had the Venice Suite which was just a nice. Location was excellent - 2 blocks up from Thames Street. Everything was clean and the attention to details was evident. Our hostess was helpful with tickets and sightseeing advice. We would definitely stay here again.

A friend and I decided to meet in Newport for a girls weekend. We chose the Spring Seasons based on the location and TripAdvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed! We stayed in Victoria's Room - HUGE bathroom and although the room faced the street, we were pleased. Not sure how it would be in high season, but on a winter weekend it was perfect.

We were glad to be able to walk to the various shops and restaurants, and the parking arrangements were great since we brought two cars - something we would not try in the summer! We were the only guests for the weekend and it was nice to be able to sit in the dining room with the cheese and bottle of wine we brought.

Bill made us a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, muffins, french toast and sausage. The irony was, the night before we had said "I wonder what's for breakfast? I hope it's french toast." And it was! Bill was a mind reader. :) We have already decided that we would like to come back with our husbands and stay at the Spring Seasons. Nice place.

Room Tip: Victoria's Room faces the street and is right by the main entrance, so if you want privacy/romance, this may not be the room to choose.

While my wife was out of town for the weekend, I got to manage the Inn for the weekend. These two ladies were very pleasant guests and I'm happy they were able to enjoy their girl's getaway weekend and that they were pleased with their breakfast.

While Victoria's Room is on the first floor of our home facing the street, it does seem to be very quiet and not one guest has ever complained about any noise coming from the street or in and out of the house. In fact our own bedroom is on the front of our house and we are often surprised at what we don't hear.

We look forward to these ladies returning with their husbands in the summer time. We appreciate your business.

I booked at the last minute for a two night stay in November 2011 based on the great reviews on Tripadvisor. It turned out to be a great choice! They offer free parking - which is much needed in Newport. The breakfast (as mentioned many times before) was fabulous! We also took advantage of the discounted tickets they offered for the mansion tours. Since this was our first time in Newport their recommendations for all restaurants were much appreciated and turned out to be great places to eat.
We booked the suite upstairs. The room was huge with a separate seating area with a sofa to watch TV. The bathroom had a shower stall and a jacuzzi tub. There was also a balcony area - which would be great during the warmer months.
There was a Keurig machine with free coffee and tea out in the hallway for use by the guests.
We had never stayed at a B&B before, but after our stay here even my hard to please husband said he would definately stay here again. Thank you Susan & Bill!

This particular guest booked our largest rom for their first B&B experience and we are certainly pleased that they were happy with their choice. This room does have a lot to offer our guests and we are pleased they enjoyed the extra amenities that B&B's offer. Another reason why a B&B is a "Better Way to Stay" We appreciate your business.
