Stayed for one night on the third floor which is difficult to lug suitcases up to! The carpet on the stairs is worn and overall the place could do with some upgrading. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was serve yourself with a selection of cereals, coffee and some breads. Parking was handy and the location was close to the harbour but not the mansions.

Went with two friends and stayed at the Apartment/Suite. It was very clean and nice. With a short walk you can reach the pier and have a great time just strolling the area. The breakfast was also good and had all the variety the three of us needed. Definitely want to go back there again!

We stayed at the Yankee Peddler Inn during a return trip and short vacation in Newport, RI. This is an old residence that was converted to a quaint inn and located within walking distance of the Newport waterfront, shops and restaurants. The inn offers a generous continental breakfast and free parking. The rooms are spacious in comparison to normal hotel rooms, very clean and quiet. Coffee, tea and cookies are offered throughout the day. I would definitely return to this inn for our next trip to Newport.

Room tip: The hotel offers suites with twin queen size beds that could accommodate a party of 4. WiFi is free and dependable.

What a nice find for a place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the beds were great. The location is only a 3 to 4 minute walk to many restaurants and things to do. They offer free parking but the lot gets packed when everyone is there. Very friendly staff and the free continental breakfast was quite good. They had a nice selection of tea (that is unusual) and the coffee was very good too. Lots of homemade pastries and other things to choose from. The blueberry muffins and the chocolate chip ones were excellent. They also put out chocolate chip cookies with coffee and tea in the afternoon. What a great place!

The service was good, the room was clean and comfortable, and the inn was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do, including food/drinks/shopping and we even walked to some of the mansions. Great location and great stay!
