This hotel is amazing! The room we had was a smart room. The amenities were awesome! We had a room with a whirlpool tub. The have a hot springs "pool" so don't be like us and forget your bathing suit! They staff were all wonderful and so helpful. We e would definitely stay here again in the future (and hopefully for more than just one night).

We chose the Curtiss for a birthday night away, and were very pleased with this hotel. From the moment you walk in, the attention to detail is stunning. We were met at the front desk by the receptionist, who came out from behind the desk to greet us, a nice touch. Our room was very tastefully decorated, all the necessary amenities were there, and then some (With the exception of bathrobes, but as previously mentioned, they are on order). Talking to other guests, everyone was impressed with the showers in the bathrooms and the high tech toilets. The lobby bar is a great place for a drink, with the revolving bar, and the roof-top bar has great city views, an outdoor firepit, and is a happening place later in the evening. Our room was on the 6th floor and we heard no noise in the evenings whatsoever. We enjoyed the continental breakfast which was simple, but with a quality selection of cereals, juices, fresh scones and bagels, coffee and tea. The only suggestion would be to provide some sort of toaster for the bagels. Valet parking is complimentary, another nice perk. We highly enjoyed our stay at this property, and would not hesitate to return or recommend it!

The curtis hotel was the most modern hotel I've been, and I've been to many. As modern as it was it was full of historic heritage touches as it is in a turn of the century building. Every amenity you could imagine was available. Rooms had automatic curtains and tablet controlled lights and do not disturb features. Room was immaculately cleaned and linens and vlbed were very comfortable.

Breakfast in the morning was fresh and had unique artesinal options like scones muffins and croissant. Tea and coffee selection was large and staff were helpful.

I'm so happy that buffalo has an amazing midsize boutique hotel option and I hope to return many times.

The room price also included valet and breakfast which was a convenient option.

Room Tip: Anything is good, some rooms have a jacuzzi tub.

We LOVED this hotel. It is beautiful! A wonderful mixture of modern whimsy and European charm. The young man who parked our car was very welcoming. (The next morning our car was warmed, running and waiting for us which was very nice because it was very cold.) The bartenders at the gorgeous bar were friendly and chatty. (It was nice of the women closing up the roof top bar to show us the fire pit.) The breakfast attendant was delightful. (The muffins and granola were amazing!) And the ladies that checked us out were cheery, knowledgeable and so helpful with our requests. (We bought some gift certificates and inquired about the history of the hotel.) The only issue was the woman who checked us in. She did not seem to want us there. She liked the people in front of us a lot. She spent a great deal of time with them. But when we approached the desk we were greeted with 'checking in?', 'name?' given a couple of papers to sign (took a phone call) and then told us 'I hope you heard the shpeal that I just gave those other guests' and handed over the key cards. I wish I had paid attention to the 'shpeal'. This hotel offers so many interesting, modern amenities but we had to figure them out on our own. And we didn't even know about the Mineral Springs until we checked out! Oh well, next time. The rest of the staff and the ambience of the hotel more than made up for our check in experience. We are really looking forward to our next visit.

We booked one night for husband's birthday to attend Sabres game. Valet parking was good, quick, efficient. Check in went smoothly but not very welcoming. Arrival in room said it all. Every option was operated by either touch controls or the IPAD installed by bed. The amenties were oppulant. Heated toilet seat, remote curtains, spa in shower, 1500 thread count sheets, and much more. THE VERY DISAPPOINTING PART OF STAY WAS THE ROOFTOP BAR NOISE. We were on 4th floor and quite literally listened to thumping music until 4am. An intoxicated girl kept shouting until 2:30am and must have returned to her room on our floor still yelling to her friends. My husband called front desk to complain about music at 2am and was told that it would play until 3am or 4am. No apology or offer to quiet things down. No customer service whatsoever from front desk. I've stayed at plenty of upscale hotels in my lifetime and have NEVER EVER experienced music so loud that it I could not sleep. For $300 a night this hotel needs to be better than that. When we checked out I explained the situation that the room was outstanding, but noise level kept us up ALL NIGHT. I was told " I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay". No discount or offer to make amends. I didn't expect compensation, but I also didn't expect a high end hotel to have such terrible customer service and management. We will never return and would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to sleep during their stay.

Room Tip: We had corner room on 4th floor. I'd recommend any room on lower floors away from 2 bars. Music too loud to sleep otherwise.
