Was in Buffalo for a family college visit to Canisius. Not knowing the area we asked for a good burger/bar restaurant to satisfy everyone in the family lol!!!!!
Admissions staff highly recommended Thin Man Brewery and they were spot on. Enjoyed fish tacos, burgers and fries, and some craft beer. Very good choice for lunch.

Sunday evening after St Patty's day parade. Had one of the specials which was braised lamb shank and it was to die for. The farmhouse ales Dummy and Hustler of Culture were very well made. The principals involved in this venture have made a lot of progress in 8 or 9 months with the beers. Congratulations!

Nice brewery! Heaps of choices to drink a nice beer. Most of them taste very well. Some screens on the wall to watch sports. Music not too loud so you can clearly hear each other.
Food served was also very good. Enjoyed my burger. Nice finger food. Bacon nubs are excellent!
Disadvantage are the closing times.

We are enjoying the craft brewery scene in Buffalo, and have visited the popular and up-start spots. Each establishment is unique, so it is worthwhile to visit several. Thin Man Brewery, on Elmwood Avenue, is a good dining/tasting combination, representing a finer food menu found among Buffalo breweries. Choices include standards like beef on weck, and stand-out items like bacon nubs, which were tender crisp with a sweet/briny char. We had fish tacos and roasted beets as well. All food was very good. The beers (we usually get a couple flights for a good variety) were mostly in the IPA space, the flavor profiles running hoppy. The range of brews was narrower than we have had at other spots, and I found them pleasant but not “wow” beer. The service was very good. A parking option has been conveniently arranged in the ramp across the street. The locale is bustling urban, and the atmosphere is mid-sized, and comfortable. We had a lovely lunch, and will go back with friends.

I had the fried chicken sandwich. It was full of unique flavors; Spicy thai chilli sauce, cilantro, crunchy cabbage and peanuts. The fried weren't anything to rave about, but the sandwich was amazing.
I was also happy that our waitress offered samples of some of theirs brews before we ordered. She also suggested the "crack pie" but we didn't have any room for dessert.
The restaurant was a little loud and crowded on a Friday night if you're looking for a quiet dinner for two.
