Privacy, comfort, beauty and all the amenities one could need are included in this cozy, quality cabin with a complete, well equipped kitchen. Home away from home in Three Rivers, close to everything yet very private. Richard and Jeannie compiled a wonderful notebook of suggestions for places to eat and visit, and descriptions of each. We had a great time and took advantage of the local spots as well as lots of time at the cabin. Easy to cook if you want to, which we did for breakfasts and snacks. We enjoyed the great outdoor jacuzzi bath tub and fire pit as well. Very thoughtfully laid out and stocked. Highly recommend!
This is a GREAT and very comfortable place right on the river with easy access to Sequoia forest, horseback riding, and whitewater rafting. Owners do a fantastic job of meeting you and giving you the layout of the home and the community. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet place, this is it. Highly recommend!
Too long have my husband and I needed a break. This was the perfect place for getting "away from it all". The river is literally right out the back door. The chairs and fire-pit at night, the deck with jacuzzi bath tub for relaxing after a long day hiking, the snacks to take along on the hikes, the cooler they provided for us to borrow while hiking, the comfy bed and country woodsy cottage style decor was just so perfect. Reading nook, lots of throw pillows, blankets, towels, etc. We can't wait to come back, I think we found our new favorite place to vacation!
It's difficult to add to all the glowing reports here, but suffice it to say they're all true. This is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful area, with owners who have thought of everything possible to ensure your stay is relaxing.
The fire pit was set up with kindling and firewood, the kitchen had plenty of snacks (including a bucket holding s'mores ingredients, which naturally thrilled our 11-year-old), the bed was very comfortable, and everything about this place says "Sit back, relax, take a break and enjoy yourself."
If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, look no further because you'll find everything you need right here.

We absolutely loved the cabin! Everything is so well thought out with particular mindfulness that clearly goes into all the thoughtful and sweet attention to detail. The pictures shown really don't do this cabin justice. It's truly lovely and extremely comfortable and Richard and Jeanie, who we met briefly upon our arrival. were reallyy nice and very accommodating.
KITCHEN: Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, truly. They're even considerate enough to provide a quality brand ground coffee, half & half, flavored creamers and butter, which are all kept in the fridge. All necessary ingredient's for smores are another added treat. SMORES! :-) There's high quality cookware, knives, and all that I believe that anyone could possibly need in the kitchen. As a self proclaimed amateur chef, I really appreciated how well stocked it was. Adhering to a special diet, we brought all of our own food and preparation was a breeze in this kitchen, I had all that I needed and more at my disposal to prepare amazing dishes for our 4 day stay.
BEDROOM: We are very particular about our sleeping comfort. We have a high end Tempurpedic mattress. The bed at the cabin is firm, supportive, and yet soft and extremely comfortable, with high quality and very inviting soft linens. We slept extremely well while there.
BATHROOM: Lovely! Lovely! Lovely!
There is a two person soaking Jacuzzi tub on a completely private deck outside of the back of the bathroom overlooking the river. We really enjoyed very long and relaxing soaks. It is quite roomy and easily accommodated the two of us and we both are both larger in stature.
LIVING ROOM: Very comfortable and charming, with beautiful views looking out towards the meandering river, trees and some of the hillsides.
DECK: Comfortable and nice, but a bit noisy when there's a lot of the traffic on the road.
OVERALL: Although this is such a wonderful place to stay and take in all the beauty of the area, I also think that it is important to mention that while being so wonderful in so many ways, that the cabin is also located right on the main road coming and going to the south entrance of Sequoia National Park. The road noise can be very loud and continuous and perhaps offensive to those who are extra sensitive to extraneous noises.
