We are Hilton Honors members and always stay at the Hampton Inn line of Hotels. The Hampton Inn in Albuquerque was full, so we booked a night at the Hilton in Historic Santa Fe, thinking that it would live up to the standards we are accustomed to at Hampton Inns. Significantly more expensive than Hampton Inn, but we thought it would be worth it. It was definitely not. Although the historic building is absolutely beautiful, we will not be going back. We ordered room service from a menu that had entrees ranging from $15 - $35. We ordered the "Knife and Fork Pork Sandwich", ($15) and it was completely dried out pulled-pork slapped on a stale bun. No pickles, no mustard, just the inedible pork on stale bread. We also ordered two orders of Beef Cavatappi ($25 each) which were both inedible because the wine was just poured over the top, instead of being cooked down. It was disgusting and inedible. My son's tuna sandwich was the only edible food, and the bill was over $100. Inexcusable. In the morning, we saw the breakfast buffet set up that looked like Hampton Inn's complimentary breakfast, so we assumed this was the same arrangement. We sat down and ate before hitting the road. Imagine our surprise when they brought us a bill of over $80 for our breakfast. We drove out of Santa Fe as quick as possible, and definitely will never be returning to this Hilton.

Room Tip: Keep driving to the Hampton Inn in Albuquerque, if you can.

I don’t understand the good ratings for this hotel. Dark, dirty room. Terrible food and service in Ortiz restaurant. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. There are definitely better places to stay in Santa Fe.

The hotel had a welcoming lobby with a beautiful fireplace. The pool and hot tub area was inviting with a nice fireplace in the corner. Our room was very pleasing and comfortable. The only small issue was the lack of Wi-Fi- service kept going in and out.
We enjoyed our visit and would definitely return if we are back in the area.

Room Tip: High floors with a pool view would be nice.

This is a beautiful clean place to stay. Pool was beautiful and warm in November. Great for pets. We did have one problem. The person who made our reservations said dog fee was $50. Then on check in we had to pay $75. Staff was not very friendly. No one wanted to give us information on things to do.They had a conseiere but she was like pulling teeth to get information out of. The best part of our stay was walking to the Plaza it was close and easy to get to. Restaurant had very good breakfast.
