The Eldorado in Santa Fe is a great place to stay if you are looking for proximity to the plaza. The rooms are roomy as are the bathrooms. We did have extremely low water pressure while showering. Other than that the hotel is excellent. Unfortunately we did not have time to experience the spa. If we return we will make it a point to relax and receive spa treatments. The staff is helpful and professional. We recommend the hotel.

Our room was of ample size with refrigerator, micro and coffee pot . The beds comfy and the maid service well done. The in house restaurant is one of the best and there is a bar and lounge. The hotel is well located near the downtown area with many shops and Native American artisans as well as restaurants.

We loved this hotel. It's close to the Plaza and all the downtown activities and the Georgia O'keefe museum. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was the cleanest hotel I have been to in years. The maitre'd made us dinner reservations and had great recommendations. My wife and I enjoyed lounging be the rooftop pool too!

We stayed at 3 hotels while in the Santa Fe and Taos area and this one was our least favorite. Good things: nice location, right down from excellent breakfast place, Tia Sophia's -- skip the hotel breakfast --too pricey and boring. Average room, comfy beds, nice shower. Bad things: parking -- you pretty much have to valet park and its 25 a night, plus tipping the valet. What a rip off! The air conditioning did not work in our room, luckily the windows open otherwise the room would have been hot and stuffy. The hotel pool is small and on the roof, but adequate. Overall, the hotel is kind of boring and to generic for Santa Fe. If you can get a good rate, then stay there, otherwise look elsewhere.

The staff was extremely helpful in solving an issue with my travel company. The hotel was nice, and well located to the Central Plaza so it was easy to walk everywhere. I would definitely stay there again!

Room tip: parking at the hotel was a little tricky
