The best sauces and flavors and freshest produce and fish I have found in town. A lovely place for a romantic dinner.

Sunday night $19 special was excellent. Chef knows his food, nice pairings. Two thumbs up! Good music, big wine selection and homemade ice cream! We'll be back.

Be sure to call ahead for a reservation, it was full.

Be sure the wait staff know you're there if you get seated in a corner of the restaurant. We were forgotten for a while but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't really matter.

The food was good and a good value since you got a salad or soup with your entree. We had enough food that we didn't need dessert afterwards. Be sure to make reservations as it's a small restaurant. Also, there is limited parking. You may have to park around the corner if the 4 spots in front are filled.

This small, 70+ seat restaurant with a large kitchen is the best Sunday destiantion spot in all of Santa Fe. With a special Sunday night only menu, featuring numerous specially prepared selections, this is the best bang for the buck in town. Never scrimping on quality or quantity, the restaurant was full house and a waiting line at 7 pm. The chef pays special attention to the shelf life of his wonderful wine selection, offering up to 40% off on some top label varietals which need to be rotated out.Our server, Louise, was new to the restaurant; but obviously not new to the business. With a comprehensive knowledge of the entrees and their preparation and eyes in the back of her head, we never wanted for a thing the entire night. What took this experience over the top was the marvelous Flamenco guitarist playing very romantic background music, loud enough to be heard; but allowing easy converstaion. Don't miss this special spot anytime and especially on Sunday evenings. Reservations are recommended, with good cause.

It's all here - a small, local, family-run business where the son/chef has the chops to back up a mother's pride. This gem of a restaurant manages to be creative, seasonal, and affordable, which is practically unheard of in Santa Fe. At a recent meal with friends, two of the seasoned travelers and foodies claimed this was one of the best meals they'd had in their life. I don't know if the warm banana cake will be available at my next visit, but if not, I'm sure something else equally delicious will be available.
