This museum has an incredible collection of toys and miniatures from around the world, donated by a major collector. There are also traveling exhibits. Located on Museum Hill, there are several other museums up there worth a visit!

This unique museum is a destination. Not only is the folk art a statement of all mankind, handmade testements to life style, But the installation designed by the master , Alexander Giraed,is spellbinding. He has mixed cultures into vinettes that speak of a idealized city square, food markets and even heaven and hell. Be ready to spend several hours viewing the museum collection and becoming acquainted with the unique folk art culture of new Mexico ( wood carving, weaning etc) and of the world.

This handsome museum on a hill houses a arge collection of folk art from around the world. I was disappointed, however, that the collection focused on more traditional pieces, and that there were few examples of quirky, one of a kind items.
