Easy walk around the plaza area included a stop at the Loretto Chapel. Very pretty and interesting to see.

“Of course you have to visit.”

Tourist trap? Maybe. But the chapel is beautiful and the story compelling. It definitely makes an impression and people always remember their visit.

So much history for this little chapel. The story about the stairs is incredible.

“Terrible audio ruins a beautiful church”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2012

You have to pay $3 to go into the famous chapel now. For your money you are bombarded with a terrible audio description. It used to be a beautiful place.

“definitely worth seeing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2012

The spiral staircase built without nails or dowels was amazing, and the chapel has a very spiritual feel to it. I sat in this chapel for a while and just enjoyed just being there. The altar and statues were beautiful also.
