Owner description: A wide range of plants from Texas and around the world spread out over 33 acres.

While in Texas this past March, my husband and I along with another couple decided to visit the Botanical Garden. We all came away raving about the beautiful layout and the plantings, the special displays, and the friendly staff. We also enjoyed a patio lunch at the restaurant and visited the gift boutique which has many interesting and different items for purchase. All around it was a most enjoyable way to spend a few hours for a very reasonable entrance fee ($5/seniors) and we would highly recommend it.

This place is a must see. There are so many different species of flowers.. It is mind boggling. The smells will wisp you to another era. We liked it so much we bought a year pass...Which is also good a lot of other botanical gardens. This is worth the price of admission.

The smells in this place are amazing. No wonder so many butterflies, humming birds, and honey bees are all around. And the catus gardens are my fave

We first visited the botanical garden just a few years after it was established. More than 20 years later, we visited again, and we have been back many times since. There are many different kinds of landscape, and a really cool glass pyramid for the palms collection. I also recommend lunch at the restaurant in the restored stable -- it is worth the wait.
