So big and absolutely beautiful. The staff, as usual at a Hilton, were so wonderful and helpful. Very nice golf course. Walk around the magnificant grounds of this hotel and enjoy the outdoors, mountains and landscape. At night, so many, many stars can be seen. Fun just to look up and find the constellations. We stayed in one of the villas which had a nice natural back "yard" with nice furniture to relax on. Huge room and nice size bathroom.
What else can I say about Hilton properties.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the villas for a more private time together.

Thank you for your post. I am pleased that you enjoyed golf and the beautiful grounds that surround the Hilton El Conquistador . The Arizona skies, particularly in Tucson, provide amazing star gazing opportunities. Please contact our property directly so that we can help create another exceptional stay.

This hotel is a wonderful spot for a quiet getaway. Its location just north of Tucson avoids all the city traffic and congestion. The pool area is large, spacious and very clean with a well stocked bar adjacent. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Great views of the surrounding mountains. The main restaurant was closed for renovations during our stay so had to eat dinner in the cafe. OK, but lacked the ambience of a good dinner location. There are no other restaurants within walking distance, so this is a bit of a drawback. Overall, very nice and look forward to a return stay.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool and courtyard are away from the parking lot

We recently spent just one night here on a business trip. Had a King room that was large with a full size couch. Very clean and the bed and bedding was super comfortable. We were facing the back parking lot in Bldg. 1, but it was very quiet with a nice view of the rock mountain behind the hotel. We found a nice hiking path on this mtn. which was a great place to see the beautiful sunset.

Room Tip: Internet in the room costs $10/day.

This is probably one of the most beautiful, if not most beautiful, resorts in Tucson. It literally feels like the mountains are going to fall down on top of you you're so close! Great pool area, lobby, and restaurants. I've always found the staff to be exceedingly pleasant, too... For the golfers out there... The executive course on the property is VERY tight and challenging-great views, though. If you're going to play either of the 18-hole courses, book on Golfnow.com... The hotel WAY overcharges guests-the public (local) rate is much better!
