“A really nice place to stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2012

I stayed two nights at the Roadrunners, in a dorm room and I have to say that it may be the best hostel I visited during my trip (2 weeks on the road between Vancouver Canada and New-Orleans) : it is a quite small hostel, and that is actually what gives it this really warm atmosphere. The staff is really helpfull and will help you to enjoy your stay in Arizona. I recommend it!

Really lovely hostel! Great staff, clean and comfortable house, central location, good vibes! Jimmy the manager was more than accomodating and an all round good guy! This place is definately worth staying in, superb value for little money, a real credit to Tucson. Sarah (Ireland).

Stayed here for five nights with a group from back east. The location was ideal next to downtown. The staff were super-accommodating and the facilities great. For a hostel at hostel prices, this place was a bargain! I'll be back next year when I run this trip again.

My husband and I signed up for a week at the Roadrunner Hostel. We were so pleased with the level of attention to the establishment-cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, terrific kitchen, yummy breakfast waffles, and a comfortable private room. This place is a gem in Tucson and a fine example of how a hostel should be. We met some great folks and we'll certainly recommend staying here to anyone traveling to Tucson. We are bicycle touring at the moment and we will write about the hostel on our blog: www.thrubike.net

Wonderful location and welcoming staff make this a comfortable, affordable alternative to boring hotel stays. The staff is knowledgeable about local attractions and prides themselves on problem solving for the harried traveler. The location is excellent with a yoga studio down and street and two natural foods grocery stores within walking distance. I travel for business once a year to Tucson and have stayed at The Roadrunner for the past l0 years. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Room Tip: I like the private rooms- they are affordable and clean.
