This three star hotel is making efforts to keep up while maintaining a very reasonable price point.
Checked in late in the evening for an early morning flight. The check in was a little slower than I would have expected, but once we were being dealt with the front desk attendant was delightful and offered us cookies a candy and a bottle of cold water. A very nice touch.
The room is very tired, but there are clearly signs that the hotel is making efforts to upgrade as best as they can. The bathroom had a once piece shower, but a curved shower rod and good towels. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Regrettably there is a real shortage of bedside plugs for the abundance of electronics that everyone wants to charge before flying. I have to also stay that they desperately need to change out the bedside wall lights that have a CFL light, but a fixture clearly designed for a traditional light bulb. The light was ghastly.
Breakfast was hot and about what you would expect. Scrambled eggs, sausage patty and the usual assortment of cereals and juices as well as sweets and toast. The breakfast room was clean and well maintained. A very pleasant experience.
The grounds are well maintained and they are pet friendly.
Definitely worth the stay.
