The restaurant is located just before the Fall River entrance to the park and adjacent to the Fall River Visitor Center, northeast of town on Route 34. We entered through the large gift shop and were quickly seated at 11 AM on a Monday in late September. The dining room has a view of a pine and aspen-covered mountain. There is outdoor seating available, weather permitting, on a deck facing the mountain.
The service was prompt and friendly. My husband got the brat sandwich with fries, substituting grilled onions for the sauerkraut. I got the Reuben sandwich on marbled rye bread with fries. Both portions were large and my sandwich had good, lean meat with sauerkraut & 1000 island dressing. My husband had iced tea, which was served in a small glass for $3, but it was refilled often. Total bill was $27.97 which we thought was reasonable for the quality of the meal, the size of the portions and the location.
