We first stayed at Paradise in September 2008 & loved its friendly atmosphere and location to the The Rocky Mountain National Park. 3 years on and this is the only campsite we have returned to a second time. We started off in Phoenix & returned to the Rockies.
Paradise Park is not a big site but it is the most friendly, welcoming site you will visit. Diane and her staff couldnt have been more helpful when we experienced a problem with our rented RV.
The washrooms and showers may be a little old fashioned but they are spotless and warm, just as we like them & no extra charges.
A big van does struggle a little to fit in the sites but there is always someone friendly onsite to assist. If we travelled this way again, Paradise would be our first choice.

My wife and I needed a short getaway. After much searching on the internet we selected Paradise on the River and reserved the River Bend cabin. I must say our stay far exceeded our expectations. The cabin was perfectly comfortable with all we needed for a four night stay and the view from our patio was exceptional. I caught trout within a few hundred yards of the cabin while my wife watched from the balcony, and we really enjoyed watching the elk crossing the river each day. We even got photos just like the one in you web banner. We highly recommend Paradise on the River to any nature lover and we will very likely be back.

We stayed in our motor home for three nights in this great park. Jane and Rod, campground hosts, were so helpful with reservations, directions, and with getting the motor home situated in an ideal location. Although the overall area of the campground is small, you don't feel crammed into a tiny space. And even though you are right next to a highway, you are below street level and noise is not a problem. Nice trees for shade and wooden decks outside our door made for a comfortable stay. Our rig is a little too big for riverside spaces, but we were only steps away from the river and the nice sitting area provided for those of us not directly on the river. Bath house and restrooms were sparkling clean. Everything in the camp looked freshly painted and well cared for. We were told that they allow "dry" camping in winter months--electricity and sewer only. We're thinking it might be a fun place to go in January!

This was a wonderful vacation. We stayed in the Pine Creek cabin and it was a wonderful stay! Quiet, peaceful and relaxing! There were just my husband and me, so it was the perfect size! I would recommend this place to family and friends. If more than 2 adults, I would recommend the larger cabin. The one bedrooms are small and the bathroom is small, so it could get crowded at shower time. The deck was awesome and the sound of the river is soothing! The cabin and grounds are very clean and neat and well maintained! We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at one of the cabins at Paradise RV Park - The cabin had everything we needed for an incredibly comfortable stay. The night before our vacation was supposed to end, I experienced a heart attack in the night. The Estes Park hospital had to life flight me to Loveland immediately. My poor husband had to go back to our cabin, pack up everything and drive to Loveland - not knowing if I was okay. Diana, the owner of this incredible property, helped my husband pack up the car and get out of Estes quickly. Not only did she do this, she called me at the hospital to make sure I was okay, AND she made a special trip to Loveland to bring the items that got left behind. I defy you to find a more clean, friendly, beautiful place in all of Colorado!
What she did was WAY above and beyond the call of a property owner! We LOVE this place!

Room Tip: Pick a cabin with a view of the river - AWESOME!
