I stayed more than once at this hotel's prior incarnation ,the Wyndam. It was always nice but i was not prepared for a designer upgrade as a sheraton property .it .reminded me of a beautiful Finnish high desgn hotel l i once stayed at in Helsinki .Wow of a design..I needed a ride back from central rental car facility at airport and driver was waiting as i walked out,, i shared a room with a friend who departed later than i did , and wake up call for me was a knock at door so as not to jar both travelers...us... food/bar area is elegant as well and my ride to the airport was 3 minutes long and driver at 5 am left just for me... i Id never stay elsewhere...
..like a visit to elegant boutique hotel with great beds...besdies...

Family trip with 2 teenagers. Late night arrival from east coast connecting through Denver (= tired family) and this overnight hotel was exactly what we were hoping for ... walking distance from the airport w/ good signage to get you there, efficient check-in and spacious comfortable rooms. Good value for the $ and we booked through kayak and saved a few $. Stayed on club floor with breakfast included in the price and that was good value as well ... We showed up just as they were closing at 9am (we should have known better but a reminder at check-in would have been appreciated) and the attendant was kind to accommodate us. Recommended

This was supposed to be our hotel just on our night of arrival because of its proximity to the airport. However, after a fiasco with the hotel we were supposed to move to in Santa Fe, we cancelled our 'luxury' hotel room and we decided to spend our entire trip at the Sheraton, Albuquerque Airport.

The staff were amazing, thoughtful, helpful, outgoing. The rates, restaurant and location were all ideal. Room was spotless, the hotel is central enough to get just about anywhere (we did have a rental car). We will stay at this hotel every time we visit the Albuquerque/Santa Fe regions of NM from now on.

Only complaint was the bed was a little soft for us. But beautiful decor and crisp linens.

Couldn't have asked for much more at this price!

Pros: comfy bed, great decor, awesome shower, perfect a/c, sound proof, lots of room, very clean, updated fixtures

Cons: slow wi-fi, sloppy finishing (poor caulking, and grouting, etc), close to some restaurants, but a little far from a quick bite to eat.

Airport hotels are a gamble. This one is a winner. Extremely quiet (you would never know it's next to an airport and a freeway), beautiful decor, helpful staff, comfortable beds, free internet. Moderately priced. The only slight issue is that I haven't figured out how to walk from the hotel to the airport - I *think* it's possible, but haven't tried it yet. But they have a shuttle, so it shouldn't be a big deal if there's no way to cut through the parking lots. Oh, and except for the hotel restaurant, there's no where to eat within walking distance. (But if you have a car, go to Little Anita's, which is about a mile away, for terrific New Mexico food!)
