I knew this was a special place years ago when I first drove up the tree lined drive to a beautiful long Adobe building. Visually it was like revisiting New Mexico in the early 1950's, but filled with the best of our modern comforts of today. The Inn has a fascinating history and the staff are always pleased to give a tour of the resident art collection of the original owners. Long fields of lavender and beautiful tended organic gardens shield the Inn from the slow 25 mph traffic of a sleepy neighborhood. There is something for everyone...the delicious food gathered fresh in the morning prepared by an accomplished chef , a new pool and exercise room. Bikes to ride, and lots of places to explore and walk. I am an educator and painter for more than 28 years and I must say I have found my paradise in Los Pablanos.

Room Tip: I enjoy the historic rooms, but I have tried the newer " bunk house" look rooms and find t...

In April my companion and I spent 4 lovely quiet nights in our own little house at Los Poblanos. Our goal was to be near Albuquerque but away from the busyness of the city. Los Poblanos was perfect. I had my early morning rambles along the trails in back of the Inn. We wandered together through the beautiful gardens on the property. Our tour of the farm included 25 active pre-schoolers. What fun to hear their questions and comments about the process of organic gardening. The gardening staff were great with the little kids. The Inn served delicious breakfasts and one night we arranged for dinner at the Inn with friends. Excellent food all around. We didn't get to the pool, but we did relish relaxing on our private patio, enjoying the cool breeze, after a full day of sightseeing. A lovely place in all respects.

If you wish for quiet, beauty, nurturing by Nancy, not to menton excellent food this is the place for you. The beds are comfortable, the sheets are gentle, the rooms are individually decorated with folk art and some have private patios. The huge lotus flower pond is breathtaking. The food is prepared from produce grown on the farm and is imaginative and delicious. Make sure you visit the Farm Shop to stock up on good English salt and lavendar lotions.

Room Tip: Meem 3 and Meem 4 link to each other if you wish and have their own patio with two chairs in the sha...

We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate our anniversary! Los Poblanos is a world away from the nearby city Albuquerque. Serene, charming, historical. The entire staff are dedicated to welcoming you and making your stay memorable. Rooms are meticulously restored. Dining is world-class, prepared with seasonal produce and meat raised on-site. What isn't produced on the farm is gotten from local organic farms. Memorable! We'll stay again!

We stayed three nights and the bed was so comfortable. The room was very, very large with a nice sitting area. The accomodations were great. The service was a bit below what we expected--almost aloof. We asked about the tour of the historic property that our information said was available to guests and were told that she could probably find someone if we really wanted a tour but that we could feel free to walk around ourselves. We took the hint that she really didn't want to give a tour and walked around ourselves but I felt like we missed out on information about the property that would have been interesting to know.

Room Tip: Meem 2 room was very spacious with many windows.
