“Amazing school”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2011

Our daughter is now attending UNM. She was admitted to the prestigious nursing programs at Marquette and Purdue and decided on UNM. Every staff person we have encountered has made her feel so welcome and as a nursing student you can't beat having one of the best trauma centers right ourside your dorm. The school may not be as well known as the others but it certainly won us over with the availability to get classes (coming from California thats a luxary) immaculate grounds and terrific scholarship program its hard to beat. The baeball stadioum, the Pit for basketball and the football stadium are all top quality and teh school has an amazing planetarium.

“Many very good attractions at UNM-museums, performing arts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2008

There is much to see and do at this univeristy--2 art museums, an anthropology museum (Maxwell), performing arts with a number of theaters--plays, music, etc. The museums are free and many of the plays and musical events are reasonably priced.
Check the university's website or local papers as to what is going on.
