I travel for a living so a hotel I can stay at for over a week needs to be pretty darn good. I chose this location due to the proximity to the airport which is extremely close, but not near any flight paths. I never heard an airplane go by.
The hotel itself is in an commercial District with a lot of other chain hotels and not much else. You will really need a car if you plan on going out to dinner. On that note, one major surprise was the outstanding quality of the food served at the Wingtips bar and Grill in the lobby. The menu is typical of what you would find in a hotel restaurant, but someone is clearly making the food fresh and not just reheating. The bartender Kim, was extremely nice and attended to everyone consistently even when the bar got crowded.
I opted for a king suite which is really just a longer room with a couch and chair setup in the front and a bed in the back. But for the price it was a great value. The bed was comfortable and the temperature equally comfortable even with 100+ degrees outside.
Overall this was a great 6 day stay! More
