As the title states Guacamole Greatness. This restaurant came to us as a referral for the table side made guacamole, and honestly it was excellent. Michael did a great job answering our questions too. From ingredients to signature dish. So, with that I decided on Mole Poblano and my wife the Torta con pollo y mole. The Mole Poblano had the perfect blend of cinnamon and coriander to work your palate into a sublime state. My wife's Torta was equal in flavor to my Mole and the fresh bread made in house accented a great sandwich. Our meal came with rice and black beans. The rice was rice, but paired with the black beans is pure genius. The black beans do not come in a dish swimming in liquid, oh no, they are mashed and blended into a paste perfectly seasoned with cumin and coriander. If you are looking for a restaurant with a different approach to Mexican cuisine then Alamexo is a must stop on your culinary trail.

This find had great Mexican dishes with excellent mole sauces. I would consider the style of the dishes as authentic upscale. The wait staff was helpful and kind. Each of us got a different entree and we loved trying a little from each, so good. I would skip the hyped places that often don't take reservations and head to Alamexo.

Always looking for good Mexican food, and friends recommended Alamexo. We elected to visit for lunch, and we weren't disappointed. Friendly reception at the door, immediate seating, and our server arriving within 60 seconds of our being seated set the tone. Our waiter, Nate, was outstanding. We had several questions about the menu and Nate easily answered all of our queries.

The three of us elected to try three different dishes, and each was delicious. The menu is based on cooking techniques and recipes from the Oaxaca area of Mexico, refreshingly different from many of the chain restaurants. There's quite the variety on the menu...something for everyone...and even the vegetarian options looked great.

Perhaps the biggest (and best) surprise was the bill...we actually had to verify we'd been charged for everything we'd ordered!

The restaurant artwork only adds to the ambiance, and the mural in the bar area is worth stopping to see...even if you aren't hungry.

Great location, great food, great ambiance, at a great price...this is a must-visit restaurant! We're already planning our next visit.

We thought to try a new Mexican Restaurant and not the normal places we also go. Researching the reviews we landed on the Alamexo and decided to give it a go. Parking was a little difficult but not insurmountable. The facility was very nice and the surroundings were peaceful and made for an enjoyable evening with friends from out of town. The made from scratch guacamole at the table was amazing, the main entrees for everyone was outstanding and tasty. The hostess, server assistants were personable and attentive, but our waiter left a lot to be desired. No name provided, no check on the food or refill of drinks without having to ask. If he would have provided a better service the rating for our visit would have went up and made for the best experience in a long time. Hopefully, if you go, the server will fulfill what we felt was lacking.

We were 6 of us and were seated at a table next to a pillar and the only place through which the staff can get to many other tables. It was a distraction and I got bumped a couple of times and had to be careful every time a staff passed by with food plates, drinks etc.

Nothing special about the place, your typical food. Was staying at Marriott so it was close by for a bite.
