This means that nearly everything, from the kebab to the sauces is made daily in-house. The ambiance, from the music to the art, is unique and inspiring. And customer service, from greeting to goodbye is sincere. With these principals as a guide, we transformed a European street food into a flavorful, fresh and healthy culinary sensation and are excited to bring it to the Salt Lake Valley.

A bit noisy on the inside, but great food! And there were no tables available on the outside area.

I had the Dner Salad with mixed meat, and I had to try the Street Cart Fries. The person at the register recommended I get the half sweet potato and half regular potato fries, and boy was he right! These come topped with garlic aioli, feta cheese, pepperoncinia, tomatoes, olives, and probably something else.

It was hard to stop eating them and have the salad, which was indeed good but not a knock-out like the fries.

Go and eat there - you'll enjoy it!!

Spitz is one of my favorite restaurants in Salt Lake. The ambiance is hip and fun, and you can sit both inside and out. It gets crowded, so go on off-times if you're visiting from out of town. The garden bowl is insanely delicious and fresh, and a great alternative if you don't want anything fried. I love the ming or basil water, it's a nice touch. The well drinks are really affordable and the pitchers of local beer aren't bad either. I also love the doner wraps and the fries are to die for!

The restaurant is set up with a modern touch and lots of hip art, so style points are definitely in order. But the hummus and tzatziki/yogurt sauce were bland! There’s a good variety of vegetable and proteins, but they were fairly bland too! Step the spice game up and it would be something to really brag about. If it’s the best doner place in Salt Lake, well, there’s plenty of room for improvement.

I really wanted to give this place a higher rating. The atmosphere was nice. We were able to play games, the service was fast and efficient, beer was cheap, and overall the experience was pleasant.

That said, the food was both hit and miss. The Street Cart fries were so good. The fries were crispy and all the toppings were perfect. Super tasty. The wraps... well, I’ve had better. I actually unwrapped mine and just ate the inside. With the wrap it was very bland, but the meats were tasty. I saw some folks eating the basket and that looked a lot better. If I had that, I may have had a different rating.
