Description: Texas de Brazil is no ordinary steakhouse. It’s a dining experience like no other. Here, traditions of Brazilian cooking blend with Texas hospitality to create a lively atmosphere in an upscale setting. Your meal begins with a visit to our extravagant salad area where you can indulge in a wide array of seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and other specialties. Then enjoy the rodizio-style dining that has made us famous. An endless parade of gaucho servers visits your table with skewers of freshly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage carved directly onto your plate. It’s all served with authentic side dishes of garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread and sweet fried bananas. To complement your meal, select from our award-winning collection of wines or traditional Brazilian bar creations. And don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our decadent à la carte desserts.

I normally don't rate chain restaurants very highly as, well, they are chain restaurants and sort of cookie-cutter bleh. However, Texas de Brazil deserves a nod as it prepares the Brazilian barbecued meats to perfection. All of the gauchos serving the meats were friendly, attentive and patiently came around as many times as we asked.
The salad bar was good as well, offering some interesting vegetable options. It also included some fish and rice dishes.
The place is pricey, but worth it if you have never eaten at a traditional Brazilian BBQ house.

We had the most enjoyable 4th of July dinner here. Craving good meat, we made a reservation and were welcomed by a friendly hostess. Joe was our server and he instantly made my day when he recommended a caipirinha.
The salad bar had a pretty good selection. Nothing like you would find in an average Whole Foods but great produce and quality vinaigrettes.
Off to the side is an array of hot food: the signature Brazilian rice (cooked in lard), beans (flavored with lard) and sumptuous fish stew (cooked in lard, I'm sure!)
Mistake to load up too much here because the moment you sit down and turn your coaster from red to green, the meat begins! Beef, chicken, lamb, pork, chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken with Parmesan crust, beef wrapped in bacon, just bacon, sizzling sirloin.....a feast!!! And every single cut was delicious and had a different flavor.
Joe came back into our lives with the dessert platter and we decided on just 2 choices so as to feel human again.
All in all, this is a great place to eat, good service, nice cocktails, good vibe. Thumbs up.

Brazilian Rodizio BBQ is one of my favorite meals from Brazil. Texas do Brazil is becoming a reliable place to enjoy this type of meal, I think also because it's fully Brazilian owned. Also in SLC Texas do Brazil is good. A small point of criticism is probably only the entrance which is a little cramped, but once inside the restaurant you quickly tend to forget about that.

There is better food at a better price elsewhere. BUT, the service was outstanding. Depends on what you want...

The food was good. I didn't find it particularly outstanding. Lobster bisque was tasty. I found prices for drinks and desserts were over-the-top. For a special occasion perhaps you can justify the cost. $12 for one glass of wine is too much. $8.50 for a dessert is too much too.
