We go to the Penny Ann's in Draper and simply love it. PA is a family run business with Moms, Dads...sisters, cousins and brothers all working. There is a grandmother and father as well. We have been to the store downtown, however Draper is much closer. I wish I could remember the name of the daughter of the owner who seems to run the ship. She is absolutely a delight and takes time to discuss heirloom tomatoes and gardening with me. Of course the heavenly hotcakes are...well, heavenly, light sweet and savory. I am particularly fond of the omelets which are on the thinner side and stuffed with good stuff. Service has always been great, and let me tell you...this place gets busy. If you show up on a Sunday for breakfast at 9am, expect to wait. I look forward to eating lunch there, their salads look terrific. I don't think there is a place in SLC where we haven't had breakfast...oh wait, Denny's, no Denny's. And this by far our favorite. Definitely check it out.
