“cool place to hear a concert”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

If you get a chance to hear a christmas concert here, it is worth it, good acoustics (not as good as next door- the other tabernacle) but there is a free concert or two everynight between thanksgiving and christmas

“Steeped in history”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

Well, I suppose it was OK, but, there's almost nothing there except for some old wood and things for you to ogle at. Very good for people who just want to experience the history, but not so much for those who don't enjoy sitting in a pew and listening to a tour guide ramble about how old it is

“Interesting building, excellent acoustics.”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

I wish I could have arranged to be there early Sunday morning, to see and hear the choir practice. The demonstration of the acoustics was quite remarkable.

“Must see!!! Great Overflow for Conference!”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

I went to go to LDS conference but it was full and no tickets. So we went to watch conference and the priesthood(Men only) session in the tabernacle. This place is awesome!!! So much history it felt good to be there. If you can you want to go up on the terrace as it can get stuffy. But overall this place is a must see for anyone taking a look at the sites in SLC, UT.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed 17 February 2012

Fantastic old building, built by pioneers who had just left everything the had in Illinois, slogged across the great plains, forged through the mountains to settle in Salt Lake. This is one of the first buildings they built and it's a real gem.
