We really enjoyed our day on this beach. Less crowded than some of the other beaches near bigger resorts and enough room to take long walks, splash around, snorkel, swim, etc. There was canoe/paddle rentals right there if you wanted. We played in the water, the sand was soft, and there are a couple of restaurants just off the sand. It was a really nice, friendly, approachable beach.

I discovered the beach in 1984. Every time I visit now he no matter where I'm staying I always make a point to go and spend at least an afternoon and evening swimming and boogie boarding on the beach. Sunsets are always spectacular,

Amazing Sandy Beach never crowded no high-rise hotels lots of locals. There's a surf shop located in the Mana Kai as well as a restaurant 5 Palms so you can get anything you want here

Keawakapu Beach located in at the south end of Kihei is a long pretty sandy beach. There are 3 parking lots that never get full. The beach best for long walks or swimming ( and other water activities) but doesn't have much shade so bring an umbrella. I prefer other close beaches because snorkeling is great here but it is the perfect place to spend the late afternoon enjoying the sunset.

This beach is never crowded and is a great beach for kids since it's shallow for many feet. Also some good snorkeling at times.
