Living in the local area, we are constant customers at Big Bill New York Pizza. It is a wonderful, friendly local pizza joint that serves a slice of pizza that is as good or better than you will find on the streets of Manhattan or Brooklyn.

My personal favorite is their calzone. I order mine with green peppers and onions - sans ricotta cheese as I am not a fan of ricotta.

Bill - the owner is just a wonderful person. Have known him personally for about 10 years and he never fails to welcome me and my son when we come in for dinner or take out.

If you want to go there on Friday or Saturday, do give yourself a little bit of time because there is frequently a line. If you are ordering for take out, you can almost always count on about a 20 - 30 minute wait from the time of your order until you can pick it up.

Visit, eat and enjoy!!!

Usually opt for Big Bill's fabulous pizza but this trip decided to try the pasta. I was not disappointed. Ordered spaghetti and meat balls. Huge dish of pasta and 2 really large, delicious meat balls. Very tasty and could easily have shared the portion was so large. Yummy leftovers for sure. Don't forget to try the delicious garlic knots served with marinara. Friendly staff and enjoyable atmosphere. Very popular pizza place. Highly recommend!

Place is very dated, it is apparent they never spend any money on interior improvements. The porthole is still there from the days this was a Long John Silvers. If you go, order the pizza as it is okay, do not order the Italian food as its not so good.

Great pizza. Friendly staff. Quick service. No frills. No surprises. For a Denver pie, this is the place. You may do better in the Bronx or Brooklyn - but not along the Front Range. Garlic knots? Yup! Calzone? Yup. Pizza pie? The best in town. IMHO.

It's an okay pizza place. Nothing fancy and I have had better pizza. The atmosphere is early military mess hall.
