Friendly service and fresh food! Choose from a variety of classic or innovative foods from their colourful wall menu. The cheeseburger and poutine were fresh, piping hot, and delicious. So delicious we forgot to take pictures.

Always great food and friendly service. Very popular place but worth the wait. Eat inside or outside. Or for your road trip. Make sure you grab napkins! Never cheap with the toppings!

We visited family in the Sarnia area four years ago with our sons and their wives. We had previously boasted to our daughter in laws about the quality of fries under the bridge in Point Edward. It wasn't the same as we remembered and our daughters were unimpressed.
During the visit my wife and I chanced on Rob's. We tried the perch and chips and discovered the marvelous old flavours were preserved here. The boys were informed about Rob's and they took the drive to Kettle Point. They were impressed and more importantly our daughter in laws thought it was delicious. Far superior to under the bridge fries.
This year we visited Sarnia again (a 2000 mile trip) We planned to visit Rob's hoping it was still there and still delicious. It was. This time my mother came along. Very critical about pickerel and french fries after 87 years in the Sarnia area. She was very surprised at the quality and size of the serving.
Rob knows what he is doing when it comes to fries and pickerel. I picked his brain a little on the subject. His own batter, the right potato to cook, proper oil and a couple of other little known cooking methods.
This gave our trip a nice nostalgic touch.

A hamburg stand with an attitude. Rob's is a great place nestled against the Kettle and Stony Point 1st Nations. The Pickerel is to die for, as are the fries that come with it. I recommend sitting down and enjoying it there, as the batter gets soft quickly if you try to carry out. Do not close the plastic box. Now I know why good Chippies in England serve in newspaper and paper bags. Take your own.
The poutine is also great, and goes a long way. Be careful not to over order.
Haven't had many burgers, but they sure look delicious.
On the other side, considering it is an Indigenous business, you expect lower prices, due to no tax. Do not expect this here. I think Rob is a little out of whack on this one.
A year round establishment.
There are a lot of options around the area right now, they are also worth a try.
Ipperwash Beach Club, Veslos in Northville, the cafe in Forest across from the theatre also is great for Westerns and Clubs. This is turning into a culinary area, loving it.
We also serve some great BBQ at our cottage. Y'all come now.

Well the fish was fantastic, but came with a 17 dollar price tag for fish and chips. Then add a drink and you are pushing 20 bucks a person for chip wagon fare. They did not give nearly enough fries. Service is slow and they advertise that fact so you know. Other than the incredibly good tasting fish, there was nothing special about it or worth going back for. A one time visit for us from Guelph.
