This well used breakfast place has a great menu that is basically a Comfort Food Bible. I have never been disappointed with my order, either in how long it took to arrive, to presentation to how yummy it was. I love and recommend the Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes, a healthier version of the old fashioned standby. The cottage fries yhat come with most of the egg dishes, are cooked perfectly with bell peppers interspersed throughout and are a great accompaniment to eggs cooked in any fashion. They serve good coffee and will make sure your cup is warmed up with refills. The orange juice is fresh squeezed. I only have had breakfast here so am not familiar with all the lunch selections, but I would not hesitate to try any of them.

Set on the right side of the road heading out of Mill Valley to either Sausalito or 101 North, The Dipsea Cafe is a convenient, sunny, warm and popular, family friendly place. I highly recommend it.

Dipsea is truly a place to visit and eat, especially breakfast. The cafe is nothing fancy but very inviting and cozy. It is a "stone's throw" from the Pacific Ocean, if you can throw a stone over the impending mountains between the ocean and the restaurant. The menu is full of delightful breakfast treats that is a difficult decision to make regarding the fare. Specialty items are pancakes, waffles.
Plain ole' breakfast foods such as eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, toast aren't bad either. A little difficult to find but well worth the trip. I would recommend it to anybody. Kid friendly too!

this is a great long time mill valley place to stop for a full breakfast or a nice lunch. Portions are quite large and filling and fresh. Many of the staff has been there for years and it is one of the very few places to still find greek food. the gyros is great with a healthy portion of greek salad along the side. too bad they are now closed for dinner. offers a comfortable place to go.

fairly normal breakfast food, good, tasty and plenty of it. fast service.
I have not eaten lunch. the restaurant is close to 101, Tenessee valley, and on the way to Muir beach, Muir woods and Mt Tam. average decor. very casual for pre and post physical activities

We stopped here for breakfast based on reviews. The food was good. Nice portions for the prices. There was really no one there at 9 am so we thought we would be on our way pretty quickly. Service was slow. We had to ask for our bill twice and finally a bus boy brought it to us. They weren't short staffed.
Plenty of employees around.
Of all the places we ate in and near San Fran while we were there, this was the worst service experience.
But again the food was good.
So maybe it was just our waiter that morning
